We offer a range of massages to suit all, from the relaxing Swedish Massage which takes you back to the refreshed you, the revitalising Japanese Massage which involves heavy tapotement and a head massage or the intense deep tissue Ayurevedic Massage which will work out all those knots and kinks you just can't get rid of.
Hot Stones
A treatment that goes beyond the physical experience of a massage and enters a deeper dimension of relaxation, health and wellbeing.
The Chinese, Japanese and Indians have all used stones for ritual and healing over thousands of years.
Water heated, smooth basalt lava stones are used as well as traditional massage and Aromatherapy oils. Stones from volcanic origins are effective due to their thermal and energy conductive qualities.
The warm, smooth stones are used to massage and are also placed on vital energy points. A deeper massage is achieved with the stones, as each stroke is five times more powerful than without them. Five cleansing crystals are also placed on the chakras to rebalance and revitalise.
Manicure & Pedicure
A luxurious treatment to condition the hands or feet. The area is first gently exfoliated with coconut scrub infused with mint oil to remove rough skin. Then we apply nourishing oils, creams and mask before the finishing massage. All products contain extracts of Mint, moisturising Chamomile and Shea butter.
A warm soak insures the skin is softened to perform a cuticle tidy and shaping of the nails in preparation for an application of a Barry M colour of your choice.
Reflexology
A relaxing therapy that stimulates reflex points on the feet which correspond to the organs and systems of the body. This helps identify and correct any imbalances therefore reducing stress, detoxifying and increasing energy levels.
The science of Reflexology is based on the principal that the anatomy of the body is reflected in miniature reflex zones on the feet. Following illness, stress, injury or disease, the body is in a state of ‘imbalance’ and vital energy pathways are blocked; preventing the body from functioning effectively.
The deposits can be broken down by Reflexology which is not a massage but more of a pressure point technique. The broken down deposits are then carried by the blood and lymphatic system to be eliminated from the body.
Hopi Ear Candles
A safe, natural alternative to ear syringing. This is an ancient and natural therapy.
It is believed that the Native American Hopi Indians of North Arizona used ear candles for cleansing, purifying and healing on a physical and spiritual basis.
Hopi ear candles contain beeswax, honey and essential oils.
The candles work on a chimney principle. The movement of the flame creates a vibration of air in the candle, generating a massage-like effect on the eardrum. This effect draws any impurities to the surface where they can be removed.
A scalp massage and acupressure points on the face finish this decongesting treatment.
